The Delamere

Willerby's contemporary residential flagship. The Delamere is a striking, highly modern park home that offers massive curb appeal, a spectacular kitchen, and a layout built for 21st-century living.

The History of the Delamere

Willerby leveraged their decades of experience in high-end holiday lodges to create the Delamere—a fully BS3632 residential home designed for the modern buyer. It was built to challenge the traditional "bungalow" look, offering something much more architectural and design-led.

It is famous for its incredible interior, which usually features a massive feature kitchen island, high-end integrated appliances, and a beautiful, free-flowing lounge that feels like a luxury apartment.

🔍 The Spotter's Guide: How to identify a Delamere

  • Distinctive Roofline: Features a very sharp, contemporary split-pitch or elevated roofline that gives it a towering presence on the plot.
  • Feature Glazing: Look for the massive, angled apex windows nestled right under the roofline on the front elevation.
  • Modern Render & Cladding: Typically finishes the exterior in a crisp render accented with sleek, vertical timber-effect or composite panels.

🛠️ Inspector's Notes: Buyer's Tips & Known Quirks

  • The Kitchen Island: The Delamere's kitchen is its centerpiece. Check the beautiful solid-surface worktops for any chips, and ensure the integrated extractor fan is fully functional.
  • Vaulted Warmth: The vaulted ceilings are spectacular, but ensure the central heating is well-serviced to keep that large volume of air cozy during the winter!
  • Window Seals: With custom apex glass, carefully check the double-glazing seals for any signs of internal condensation on older units.
